Christmas Memories & Traditions
Like most children, we were preparing Christmas
during Advent.
Advent starts four Sundays before Christmas.
There were the wonderful Advent calendars &
Christmas anticipation!

On the first Advent Sunday, every year, my mom was
putting 2 cute figurines on a dresser for my sister
& me.
They were going forward every day if things
went well, but any mistake would make it go backward…
Being the youngest, mine was always a little left behind,
but I was trying so much to be good for Christmas…

A little after Thanksgiving, we go to the tree farm to
get our Christmas tree & decorate it with friends & family.
It's the occasion to be together before the holidays…
Each year we have a different theme…
We bake cookies, homemade ornaments, drink tea or
eggnog & have a wonderful time..
