I have been taking tons of photos & loving it. It's fun to have a camera that does what I want. For instance I took a photo of raindrops on a window & all my Canon could have taken would have been the deck through raindrops. DSLR is the best :o) I have posted a couple of photos on Flickr (click Photos on the right to see them)
We have lots of fireflies, I wasn't sure at the beginning as it was so bright but they like to come outside the windows & flash their lights. It's pretty amazing as they are very bright. I have lost the illusion of the cute light bug, they don't look cute at all LOL. Here's a photo of a part of my desk You can see my calendar, a clock/weather station which gives the time, temperature in & out as well as the air humidity, moon phases, date & more. There's also my Imac (computer) which is white. The blue/grey thing with Warm & Cozy written on is something I bought at Gooseberry Patch years ago. I found it again while packing for the move. It's filled with apple spices & it smells good when you put a hot mug on it. I put mugs of tea on it. There are cute mittens which I love & it smells great :o) I don't think it's sold anymore.
It's going to be another hot & humid day here with 87 degrees. I have added the time to my weather page, I found a cute Christmas clock :o) Buddy looking very soft. He usually is :o)

Funny how time flies when we do more things. Last week just flew by.
I have a new camera, it's a Pentax digital SLR & I love it. I only have a basic lens so far but I should have more soon. It's been fun to play with it & take photos. The quality is amazing but I'll keep using my Canon camera too as it fits anywhere & the Pentax is much bigger.
Nothing much is going on this week as I'm alone; I love to receive my magazines. There is a fashion magazine too which is nice. Country Home is wonderful & my favorite with fashion so far :o)
I have added a baseball sigtag to my graphics site, I love baseball. You can find a link on the right if you want to check it out. There is also a friendship premade.
Today is stormy & rainy like last night. Buddy is worried although the thunder is pretty low & only from time to time.
I was wondering if this is a humming bird feeder. Today is going to be a mostly quiet at home day. I'll be able to catch back on reading, I have 13 books to read & three magazines. I guess it will be a nice cozy rainy day.

We have wonderful bushes with yellow, pink & red/orange flowers on the same bushes. It's so pretty. Neighbors came in to check them & Buddy was anything but happy. He takes his guarding role very seriously. I will post a full view of the flowers on Flickr before posting on my blog so you can check them. Buddy loves these bushes, they smell so good & he likes to go in them head first.
Joel came back home Friday night & life is happy again, he makes things much more fun. It's amazing how lonely I get when he's away. We have gardening power tools & it's going to be fun to use them. I have new magazine subscriptions; Country Home & Coastal Living. I love them so far & it was a nice surprise from Joel.
I have a new handheld vacuum cleaner, it's a [Dirt Devil Kone] & although I thought it was useless at the beginning it does a fantastic job picking up all the little dry flowers etc Buddy gets in his coat & drops nicely all over the house. It's nice to be able to pick up stuff fast without getting the vacuum cleaner out every time.
There is a special on my graphics site; custom graphics are the price of premades. I have also had fun with a new sigtag I posted Saturday. It's a teddy bear in a water can.
Otherwise time is flying, I can't believe it's already May 7. We're having gorgeous days, the air is perfumed by sweet flowers & honeysuckle. I'm looking forward to have the magnolias in bloom. We drove to the bank & a few more errands & took Beach Blvd in Biloxi. The wide white sandy beaches & the Gulf of Mexico are so pretty. We stopped a little bit for a walk with Buddy & it was so nice.
